seepex Pumps (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
As a globally oriented company, seepex has been present in China since 1998. The first representative office was opened in Shanghai, soon other branch offices followed in Beijing and Guangzhou (2000), Qingdao (2002), Lanzhou and Ji Nan (2004) as well as Wuhan (2005).
In 2004, seepex Pumps (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was founded as a wholly owned subsidiary of seepex GmbH + Co KG. The new location of the premises is in Kangqiao Industry Development District, PuDong New District, Shanghai.
After the Foundation, assembly activities have started in April 2005. In the meantime, more than 500 pumps have been built, tested and delivered in the new facility.
On June 8, 2005, we celebrated the grand opening ceremony of our new premises. This newest addition to the group of worldwide seepex facilities is certainly a sign of great ambition for us and for our goal to become a major force on the Chinese market.
Our 30 employees currently being employed have started to focus on sales and marketing, finance, business administration and production / material management activities.
With our headquarters in PuDong Shanghai and six branch offices, seepex Pumps (Shanghai) is now able to offer sales and service to the customers located all over China.
Greater flexibility and integration of local sources together with price competitiveness and improved customer focus will be among the important benefits of this latest addition of the seepex facilities worldwide.
With the efforts of the whole team and support from other members of the seepex group we expect significant growth in the coming years in China.
