We too were present again on this international business platform for food technology products and services ready to meet the high demands from the process industry.

With some 39,000 trade visitors from 146 countries, 55 per cent of which were from foreign countries, the Anuga FoodTec recorded a 13 % increase in the number of visitors compared to 2003. All in all the public was a distinctly more international one than in previous years. Above all countries from south and east Europe were highly represented and showed great interest in our customised pump solutions which are successfully used both in production processes and in the disposal of waste products.

In order to graphically show the crushing and conveying of fruit and vegetables at the Anuga FoodTec, we presented this process with a pump from the BTM range live every day at our stand. These pump demonstrations attracted lively interest from visitors to the fair so that numerous good discussions with potential and existing customers could be conducted.

We are delighted at the generally keen interest in our products and services which has made this year’s fair a complete success for seepex.

The next Anuga FoodTec will be taking place from March 10 to 13, 2009 and we are certain to be there.
