Review Achema 2006
ACHEMA 2006, the most important international trade fair for chemical engineering, environmental protection and biotechnology in Frankfurt am Main was a complete success for seepex.
3,880 exhibitors from 50 countries participated in ACHEMA 2006, making this trade fair bigger than the one before and internationally the biggest ever (ACHEMA 2003: 3,819 exhibitors from 48 countries). From 15 to 19 May 2006 on an area of 135,514 m2 the world’s largest fair of its kind presented a comprehensive range of system solutions, equipment, technological competence and service for the chemical and petrochemical industry, the pharmaceuticals and food and beverages industry and related branches of the process industry.
Some 180,000 participants from 98 countries took advantage of ACHEMA to find out about new developments and future trends and make new contacts. We also welcomed many of these visitors to our stand. The discussions were of a very high level. The internationality of the contacts met our expectations and confirms the global path we have taken and will be developing further.
During this trade fair we focused on presenting the new corporate claim "all things flow" which shows that everything is in flow and that we move both media and also processes. Over the last 18 months seepex has undergone a strategic and operative realignment. New ambitious goals have been defined in which customer orientation (customizing, service excellence), innovation (products and processes) as well as growth in new industrial and geographical markets are moved to the foreground.
We selected our “problem solvers“ for very difficult conveying problems for the product presentation during the trade fair. We visualised their broad range of uses using a flat screen animation. This animation showed visitors the versatile seepex products for problem solutions and impressively demonstrated our possibilities and flexibility. The broad and extensive seepex service range was an additional highlight of the trade fair.
