2006, is an important year for seepex UK Ltd. In 1981 the company was founded and now we are celebrating our 25th year.
It was from very small beginnings in 1981 when a porter-cabin was the office for two employees and now with four offices strategically located throughout the UK and Ireland we employ 22 people, 17 of which are located in the head office in Yeovil, Somerset.
The commitment and dedication that our employees give to our customers in a wide and diverse range of industries and applications from the up front initial consultation through to the tailored portfolio of aftersales products have all been part of the success.
Over the years high value long term framework agreements have been awarded by Water Utility companies which do not merely look at the up front purchase price of the pumping equipment but consider the bigger picture, the total cost of ownership. This clearly demonstrates our customers’ confidence not only in the product but services provided and the ability to be able to identify and deliver fluid handling solutions.
The management of seepex UK Ltd recognise that the employee development is critical to the success of the company. Nearly two years ago the company achieved "Investor in People" status.
Earlier in 2006, the company was awarded "Beacon Company Status" for South West England. The award is given to companies that can demonstrate outstanding business achievements across a range of criteria.
