seepex progressive cavity pumps have, in particular in the case of highlyviscous media of up to 1,000,000 mPas, crucial advantages because they can guarantee stable flow rates and pressures even under those conditions. Consequently the pumps are ideally suited for the gentle conveying of whole fruits and the subsequent mixing with joghurt.
Dairy products provide an ideal breeding ground for many microorganisms, while possible residues in the production systems result in a considerable loss in quality of the final product. The programmable and controlled disinfection and cleaning of all used production systems is a basic condition for the manufacture of consistently high quality and non-perishable dairy products. Cleaning in closed cleaning areas (Cleaning in Place = CIP) allows for the circulating cleaning of pipes, machines, equipment and tanks without the necessity to dismantle individual components and clean them individually. The cleaning programs of the respective manufacturing systems are determined considerably by the system parts that require cleaning and the type and amount of soiling. Special design features - among others the dead end free pump housing, the flushed mechanical seallocated in the suction area and the special surface quality - guarantee residue free cleaning of the seepex pumps.
