Fruit and vegetable processing

The high quality standards required for finished products calls for sophisticated technology. Ultimately the natural air content of the product being processed should not be additionally increased in which a close grain size range is created. seepex has designed a concept, which has in the meantime been patented, for macerating and conveying fruit and vegetables. Apples, apricots, pears, strawberries, gooseberries, cherries, carrots, tomatoes, onions and many more are macerated and then fed in a closed system with minimal O2 influence by way of the shortest route to the following process stages.
Waste is produced where fruit and vegetables are processed. Thanks to the seepex technology, waste volumes have been reduced by up to two thirds. This saves quantifiable energy and disposal costs. seepex progressive cavity pumps are the answers to the economic and ecological questions.
