Biogas

The term fermentation consists of the decomposition of biogenic material by way of microorganisms in the absence of oxygen. Several bacteria groups change biogenic material into biogas. In agriculture fermentation - in addition to energy production - is of great importance in conditioning farm dung. The procedure is particularly interesting from an economic point of view in the case of systems in which liquid manure as well as other waste products such as vegetables and secondary slaughter-house products are treated.
The wide range of materials and specific application design variants provide seepex with the opportunity to supply the ideal pump solution for all uses in these sectors. seepex also supplies an aggregate that combines a pump and a macerating system for macerating waste in biogas systems.
