Dry Running Protection Device TSE

The temperature between the rotor and the stator is permanently sensed thermoelectrically via a temperature sensor integrated in the stator and compared with the limit value set at the TSE control unit.
When the pump runs dry, the temperature will rise due to the increased friction between the rotor and the stator. When the set limit value has been reached, the TSE control unit switches off the pump drive and triggers a fault message.

Universal Joint Protection

Made of stainless steel for protecting the universal joint sleeve against mechanical destruction due to ultralarge solids such as plastic, wood, glass and metal parts. When using this type of universal joint protection, seepex grants a warranty of 10,000 operating hours on the joints.

Adjustable Stator Retensioning Device

This device can be used to evenly retighten a worn stator until the original compression fit of the rotor and stator and thus the original pump capacity has been reached again.

Overpressure/Low Pressure Protection Device

Diaphragm contact pressure gauge with open measuring flange switches a floating contact when the adjustable permissible pump pressure has been exceeded.

Dosing Device

The dosing device provides for setting the desired number of rotations for determining a specific delivery volume.

Lantern Ring Supply Unit

The lantern ring supply unit is used for supplying the shaft sealing with sealing liquid. It can be equipped with a flow meter, if desired. With labyrinth seals, the flow rate can be adjusted and checked.

Ribbon Screw

Special screw design with maximized diameter and longer pitch for trouble-free conveying of products that tend to bridging. The special dimensions of the screw provide for an increased overcapacity in the compression zone of the pump, which can simply flow back into the pump hopper due to the ribbon screw design without impairing the conveying effect of the screw.

Pressure Pipe Adapter

An adapter can be supplied for expanding the pump pressure flange to the larger nominal diameter of the pressure pipe. For connecting a pressure measuring transducer or a diaphragm contact pressure gauge, a DN50 flange has been provided. Lubricant can be injected through the four circumferential screw thread connections.

 |
Boundary Layer Injection System

The friction between the conveying liquid and the piping can be reduced by adding lubricants, which also considerably reduces the operating pressure of the pump. Reducing the pumping pressures leads to a reduction of the drive power and thus to considerable cost saving (longer service life of rotor and stator, lower energy requirements).

Hopper Extension

A hopper extension as a supply tank can be adapted to the respective applications using the following options:
Ultrasonic level measurement A constant sludge level in the supply tank is required for optimum operation of the pump. The fill level can be measured reliably via an ultrasonic detector and transferred to a product feed control via a measuring transducer.
Ventilation / aeration for venting and aerating the supply tank
Connection for CH4 measuring head CH4 measuring head for measuring the marsh gas content
Vibration limit switch for switching off the pump upon supply tank overflow
Grounding connection for supply tank and pump
Revision opening optionally with quick release fasteners, for revision purposes and for cleaning the inside of the tank
Drain opening for draining the supply tank
