Stock Preparation

Paper production is a combination of very complex processes. Fibers from recycled paper, wood, and cellulose must be treated mechanically and chemically before they are sent to the stock preparation area. Paper basically consists of fibers, additives and water. Based on the type of fibrous material used, paper is generally sub-divided into three different groups: cellulose fiber, groundwood, and the secondary fiber group. Used mineral, amimal and synthetic fibers are less common than plant fibers like cellulose, wood pulp and rags. Waste paper used as fiber is becoming also more and more important. Additives, used to produce paper are both natural (Kaolin / Resin) and synthetic (dyes). seepex pumps are used for the transportation of paper stock and the metering of additives in the entire raw material processing. After all, complex processes require clear solutions.
