6L-geometry
As compared to the conventional geometry, the rotor of the 6L-geometry features a larger pitch and at the same time a smaller diameter and smaller eccentric.

The resulting longer sealing line as well as the surface velocity decreased by 20 % drastically increase the service life as compared to the conventional geometry. Even with proceeding wear, the conveying capacity and feed pressure are kept constant over a long period of time.

A smaller pressure working surface results from the geometric changes on the rotor diameter and eccentricity. This leads to lower axial forces on the joints and the pump bearings. With conventional geometry the axial forces are up to 50 percent higher.

The stretched geometry provides for the optimised flow curve that has a positive effect on pulsation and vibration.
Tricam Geometry
The Tricam geometry is the conclusive further development of the 6L-geometry. At an identical speed, the conveying capacity is increased by 50 %.

The double-helix rotor features an elliptic cross section that rotates in a triple-helix stator featuring the same geometrical ratio. As compared to the rotor, the number of helices of the stator is 1,5 times higher. The helices are staggered by 120 degrees and feature 1.5 times the pitch length. The Tricam geometry creates an additional conveying channel.

Dimensional similarity makes it possible to convert the pump from 6L to Tricam geometry.
