Review Anuga Foodtec
Anuga FoodTec, the international trade show for food and drink technology in Cologne, Germany, came to an end on Friday, March 13, 2009. On a total exhibition area of 115,000 m², a total of 1,194 companies from 39 countries participated. Around 34,000 accredited visitors from 114 countries attended the trade show.
Anuga FoodTec presents all aspects of processing, packaging, hygiene, storage and distribution in all industries involved in food and drink production. Hygienic technology, automation and sustainability, especially energy efficiency, were the focal topics this year.
Under the motto "Time Matters," seepex presented Smart Stator Technology (SST), its latest innovation,
at the seepex booth. Fruit and vegetable processing, animal food production, food waste recycling, and industrial waste water purification are just some of its possible areas of application.
In lively discussions with visitors to our booth, the special advantages of SST (saves costs, easy to service, quick to clean, compact design, etc.) found broad acceptance.
Very promising customer contacts create an excellent outlook for follow-up business.
Anuga FoodTec is jointly organized by Koelnmesse GmbH and the German Agricultural Society (DLG) and takes place every three years. The next Anuga FoodTec will take place from 27 to 30 March, 2012.
