Fish Industry
The fish industry offers a wide range of applications for seepex progressive cavity pumps:
- Transport of process residues.
- Pre-maceration for further processing of fish meal - with the assistance of the BTM series and the macerators.
- Conveying or metering of animal feed on fish farms - safe and fully automated operation with a high level of metering accuracy by way of incorporation in the SPS.
- Addition of dressings and spices during the processing of the fish products - progressive cavity pumps of the CS series meet the highest hygiene and safety requirements.
- Emptying of fishing boats and, for example, conveying entire fish. However, compared with conventional methods this is carried out with a considerably lower percentage of damaged fish. The fish is conveyed extremely effectively by reducing the proportion of conveying water and consequently a reduction in the entire conveying volume.
