FOOD AND HYGIENIC PUMP WITH JOINT-FREE, FLEXIBLE TITANIUM SHAFT

The BCF food and hygienic pump from SEEPEX, with its joint-free, flexible titanium shaft (Flexrod) is certified under 3-A Sanitary Standards. Tangentially positioned flush connections allow residue-free cleaning in CIP and SIP processes. Optimal cleaning and sterilization can also be achieved when disassembled (COP). Thanks to minimal pulsation and shear characteristics, it is particularly suitable for conveying of sensitive food.

Pressure branch

Made of stainless steel, polished inside, glass bead blown outside. Allows effective draining. Connection as standard to DIN, Tri Clamp® or any other known fittings
Rotor

Wear resistant and corrosion-resistant materials. Optionally with hard surface treatment.
Conventional geometry

With short pitches and a compact design, the conventional geometry produces high pressures.
6L geometry

With a small rotor diameter and a long pitch, the 6L geometry attains lower surface velocities and extends the service life due to its large sealing line.
Stator

In food-grade materials according to FDA, and in compliance with EHEDG directives. Follows pharma regulations according to several USP classes.

Equal Wall Stator

The stator with uniform wall thickness is used in situations with very high pressures or temperatures.
Base plate

Made of stainless steel, glass bead blown. For the support and attachment of the pump.
Suction casing

Made of stainless steel and internally polished with an external satin finish. The optimized pump casing with suction connection above the mechanical seal enables both product flow and CIP solutions to flow through the entire casing. The tangential CIP-connection allows effective draining. Optional: double jackets for heating.
Flexrod

Flexible titanium shaft without joints. Hygienic cleaning through CIP and SIP possible. Simple dasassembly of rotor and drive shaft.
Suction pipe

Available in DIN, Tri Clamp® or any other known sanitary fitting.
Mechanical seal

Flushed by the product and located inside the suction area for optimal cleaning.
Lantern

A corrosion resistant design, optionally made of stainless steel, connects the pump and drive and secures the assembly to the base plate or skid.
Drive

Geared motors, variable speed drives or frequency controlled motors of all major manufacturers, directly flanged to the pump without additional couplings or guards. Covers made of stainless steel are available.
Overpressure Protection

The pressure gauge switches off the pump as soon as a pre-set pressure is exceeded or not reached and protects the pump from increased wear and tear or piping damage.
