Mobile ground water management

The SEEPEX Mine Dewatering Unit is engineered for efficient spearation of oversized solids and conveying of mine water. The unit consists of a skid baseplate, tank, pipework, and a pump with a drive and controls. The compact design enables easy transport and the option to retrofit into existing dewatering units.

Technologies, accessories and options

Dry running protection / TSE

TSE monitors the temperature of the rotating stator and shuts down the pump when the limit value is reached to protect the pump from dry running.

Overpressure Protection

The pressure gauge switches off the pump as soon as a pre-set pressure is exceeded or not reached and protects the pump from increased wear and tear or piping damage.

Standard gland packing

Universal seal for hopper and standard pumps for sealing the plug-in shaft and suction casing or feed hopper. Also available with grease or lantern ring to shut off the media flow. Can also be supplied with upstream labyrinth seal and additional flush connection or lubricating device.

Single-acting mechanical seal

Universal standard mechanical seal for dosing, food applications and semi-submersible pumps for sealing the plug-in shaft in the suction casing or the hopper.

Pump valve manifold

Two outlets for sludge or solids removal.

Settle tank

Configured to control solids and handle overflow. Standard capacity of 3,300 liters (727 gal.).

Rotor and Stator

Optimized compression, length and size. Wear and corrosion resistant materials in a lightweight design.

Conventional geometry

With short pitches and a compact design, the conventional geometry produces high pressures.

Equal Wall Stator

The stator with uniform wall thickness is used in situations with very high pressures or temperatures.

Skid baseplate

Has a compact, bi-directional design and lifting lugs for simple transport.
