7. Use of Google Analytics

7.1 This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and facilitate an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to, and stored on, a server operated by Google in the USA. In case of the IP anonymisation on this website, however, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activities and providing other services relating to the use of the website and the use of the internet for the website operator.

7.2 Google will not associate the IP address that your browser transmits within the scope of Google Analytics with any other data held by Google.

7.3 You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting an appropriate setting in your browser software; however please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) at Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7.4 This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". Thus, only truncated IP addresses are further processed and personal traceability is ruled out. As soon as data collected about you facilitates personal identification, this will immediately be eliminated and the personal data is deleted without delay.

7.5 We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and be able to regularly improve it. The statistical data obtained will help us to improve our offers and make them more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transmitted to the USA, Google has committed to applying the principles of the EU-US Privacy Shield; www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for using Google Analytics is art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f of the GDPR.

8. Use of social media plug-ins

8.1 We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Xing and LinkedIn. We use the so-called two-click solution for this. This means that when you visit our website, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognise the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We offer you the opportunity to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field to activate it will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, the data mentioned under 3. of this policy will be transmitted. In the case of Xing, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection according to the provider in Germany. Activation of the plug-in means that personal data is transferred from you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects the data mainly by means of cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies before clicking on the greyed-out box using your browser's security settings.

8.2 We have no influence on the data collected and the data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of the processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

8.3 The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the design of its website in accordance with requirements. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the depiction of advertising in accordance with requirements and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, but you will have to contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Through the plug-ins we offer you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and design it in such a way that it is more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

8.4 Data is passed on regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected from us will directly be assigned to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider will also store this information in your user account and share it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, especially before activating the button, as in this way you can avoid being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

8.5  Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the privacy policies of those providers stated below. They also provide you with further information about your rights in this regard and the setting options for the protection of your privacy.

Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) for the provision of advertising in accordance with requirements and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, but you will have to contact Google in order to exercise this right.

10.3 Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the privacy policy of the provider. There you will also find further information about your rights in this regard and the setting options for the protection of your privacy: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
