Where hygiene is of critical importance, the BCFH food and hygienic pump from SEEPEX safeguards particularly hygienic processes. The EHEDG Type EL Class I certificate verifies optimal cleaning and sterilization results, which are facilitated by the joint-free Flexrod design, a split suction casing with CFD-optimized geometry, and tangentially positioned flush connections. Thanks to minimal pulsation and shear characteristics, the BCFH food and hygienic pump it is particularly suitable for conveying of sensitive food.

Technologies, accessories and options

Overpressure Protection

The pressure gauge switches off the pump as soon as a pre-set pressure is exceeded or not reached and protects the pump from increased wear and tear or piping damage.

Standard base plate

Short base plate B with geared motor for all standard applications.

Single-acting mechanical seal

Universal standard mechanical seal for dosing, food applications and semi-submersible pumps for sealing the plug-in shaft in the suction casing or the hopper.

Pressure branch

Made of stainless steel, polished inside, glass bead blown outside. Allows effective draining. Connection as standard to DIN, Tri Clamp® or any other known fittings

Rotor

Wear resistant and corrosion-resistant materials. Optionally with hard surface treatment.

Conventional geometry

With short pitches and a compact design, the conventional geometry produces high pressures.

6L geometry

With a small rotor diameter and a long pitch, the 6L geometry attains lower surface velocities and extends the service life due to its large sealing line.

Stator

Equal wall or standard design. Seals are an integral part of the elastomer stator. In food grade light and black or Class VI materials.

Equal Wall Stator

The stator with uniform wall thickness is used in situations with very high pressures or temperatures.

Tie bolts/screw

Corrosion proof, optional available in stainless steel design.

Flexrod

A flexible titanium shaft absorbs the rotating movement: the pump does not need any joints. A flexrod is particularly suitable for hygienic pumps, such as the BCF and BCFH range.

Split suction casing

For easy maintenance of the rotating unit and the mechanical seal without dismantling the suction pipe

Suction connection

Patent-pending inlet with CFD-optimized geometry for residue-free cleaning.

Plug-in shaft

Designed for easy CIP, made of stainless steel and designed to mount the mechanical seal. The connection is designed for easy dismantling of the pump and drive enabling quick replacement of the rotating parts and shaft seals.

Lantern

A corrosion resistant design, optionally made of stainless steel, connects the pump and drive and secures the assembly to the base plate or skid.

Drive

Geared motors, variable speed drives or frequency controlled motors of all major manufacturers, directly flanged to the pump without additional couplings or guards. Covers made of stainless steel are available.

Base plate

Made of stainless steel, glass bead blown. For the support and attachment of the pump.

Open pin joint

Newly developed hygienic joint, designed for higher pressures and flow rates.

Mechanical seal

Flushed by the product and located inside the suction area for optimal cleaning.
