Incorporates Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) with Electronic Programming Module (EPM) memory chip

The Intelligent Metering Pump (IMP) design incorporates a gear reducer and a programmable vector drive in a compact design for precise metering. Metering parameters can be pre-configured on an Electronic Programming Module (EPM) memory chip, making conversion from a previous drive to a new drive or a change in parameters as easy as inserting the EPM chip.

Dry running protection / TSE

TSE monitors the temperature of the rotating stator and shuts down the pump when the limit value is reached to protect the pump from dry running.

Seal barrier system

This unit protects the shaft sealing by selectively supplying barrier liquid. Also available with flow meter on request.

Overpressure Protection

The pressure gauge switches off the pump as soon as a pre-set pressure is exceeded or not reached and protects the pump from increased wear and tear or piping damage.

Coupling rod with impeller

Coupling rods with impellers that mix the medium and thereby prevent sedimentation. Can be selected as an optional extra.

Standard gland packing

Universal seal for hopper and standard pumps for sealing the plug-in shaft and suction casing or feed hopper. Also available with grease or lantern ring to shut off the media flow. Can also be supplied with upstream labyrinth seal and additional flush connection or lubricating device.

Single-acting mechanical seal

Universal standard mechanical seal for dosing, food applications and semi-submersible pumps for sealing the plug-in shaft in the suction casing or the hopper.

Base plate API 676

Particularly robust design with integrated drip tray; base plate for applications in the oil and gas industry.

Operator Pad

The simple keypad equipped with membrane operator elements allows for H-O-A selection, manual speed control, and display of pump speed/RPM or flow. The LED display provides alphanumeric codes to aid in determining the cause of a fault indication. The keypad also allows for some factory set parameters to be adjusted in the field.

Terminal Strip

Accessories can easily be connected to the drive via the control terminals on the terminal strip.

Memory Chip

Each unit comes with a standard Electronic Programming Module (EPM) memory chip. Parameters can be preconfigured on this chip making replacement of a drive simple, quick, and accurate. Simply plug the chip from the old drive into a new drive and you are set. A drive reset to factory default or customer settings takes seconds with the EPM.

Stator adapter

In stainless steel, enabling the use of all sizes of rotor/stator giving inter- changeability with only one housing and drive unit.

Pressure branch

In stainless steel, 1/2" connections to DIN EN ISO 228-1 or NPT.

Rotor

Wear resistant and corrosion-proof materials.

With short pitches and a compact design, the conventional geometry produces high pressures.

6L geometry

With a small rotor diameter and a long pitch, the 6L geometry attains lower surface velocities and extends the service life due to its large sealing line.

Tricam geometry

The rotor with Tricam geometry features a three-helix geometry. This enables it to achieve larger conveying capacities with the same overall length of the pump.

Stator

The seal on both ends is moulded as an integral part of the elastomeric stator. Corrosion of the stator tube is never a problem because the pumped liquid never comes into contact with the metal tube or the bonding adhesive.

Suction casing

In stainless steel, 1" connection to DIN EN ISO 228-1 or NPT, can be rotated in 90° increments, with drain plug, available with gauge or flushing connections.

Coupling rod

With two pin joints with hardened and wear resistant components, easily assembled, grease lubricated and positively sealed with elastomer sleeves and two holding bands.

Shaft sealing

Single acting mechanical seal. Alternatively, a double acting mechanical seal or gland packing are available.

Plug-in shaft

Connects the drive shaft to the joint. With gland packing the plug-in shaft is used as a shaft protection sleeve. Upon request, it is available with wear resistant coating.

Plug-in shaft connection

For easy dismantling of the pump and drive enabling quick replacement of the rotating parts and shaft seals. The plug-in shaft pin secures the shaft connection to the drive and the splash ring protects the bearing from contamination/gland leakage.

Lantern

For connection of pump and drive and to secure the assembly to the base plate or directly to the foundation.

Base plate

Tailor-made selection of base plates. The base plates can be easily combined with different drives from all major manufacturers.

Drive

Geared motors, variable speed drives or frequency controlled motors of all major manufacturers, directly flanged to the pump without additional couplings or guards. Covers made of stainless steel are available.
