PVP - Double Disc Pump

Our Model 2DDSX05 Double Disc Pump moves sludge and slurry material.  Its compact design can handle up to ½″ solids and line size semi-solids.  This pump size is ideal for light sludge applications and chemical feed transfer applications such as lime slurry and polymer. It is also used in sampling and landfill leachate pumping applications. The pump casing is cast iron double disc pump has a typical flow range of up to 40 GPM at operating speed up to 400 RPM.

Our Model 3DDSX11 Double Disc Pump is the ultimate in positive displacement pumps. The most common application for this pump model is small screw press and rotary press feed applications. It is also used frequently in lime slurry feed and transfer applications. Its Maintain-In-Place hinged housing design reduces the complexity of maintaining the pump, as well as allows it to be rebuilt without having to move it or disturb the piping during maintenance. The cast iron 3DDSX11 has a displacement of 0.11 gal/rev at 60 feet TDH at 300 RPM. It has a typical flow range of up to 70 GPM and an operating speed up to 400 RPM.

It features a displacement of 0.22 gal/rev at 60 feet TDH at 300 RPM. It has a flow range up to 120 GPM and an operating speed of 400 RPM.

Our 4” Model 4DDSX30 double disc pump is an all around work horse and ideal for the most challenging applications. This pump model is routinely used to pump primary sludge, septage, scum, WAS, digested sludge, lime slurry, and lime sludge. This pump is often used to feed dewatering devices such as screw presses, rotary presses, belts presses and centrifuges. It features a displacement of 0.30 gal/rev at 60 feet TDH at 300 RPM. It has a flow range up to 160 GPM and an operating speed of 400 RPM.

The 6” Model 6DDSX76 Double Disc Pump transports sludge and slurry. This is our most common pump size and is a solid workhorse for just about any sludge or slurry application you run across. This pump is routinely used for higher flow primary sludge applications as well as scum, WAS transfer, digested sludge transfer, thickened sludge transfer and dewatering feed application to include: belt press, centrifuge, rotary press, screw press, RDT and GBT feed. This cast iron pump can run dry without damage and has no fouling problems. It has a flow range of up to 425 GPM and can handle up to 2” solids as well as line size semi-solids. This pump operates at speeds up to 400 RPM.

The 6” Model 6DDSX107 Double Disc Pump transports sludge and slurry easily. This is our most common pump size and is a solid workhorse for just about any sludge or slurry application you run across. This pump is routinely used for higher flow primary sludge applications as well as scum, WAS transfer, digested sludge transfer, thickened sludge transfer, truck loading and dewatering feed applications to include: belt press, centrifuge, rotary press, screw press, RDT and GBT feed. This cast iron pump can run dry without damage and has no fouling problems. It has a flow range of up to 550 GPM and can handle up to 2” solids as well as line size semi-solids. This pump operates at speeds up to 400 RPM.

The 6” Duplex Model 6DDDX214 Double Disc Pump™ is made for demanding applications. It is used in high capacity dewatering applications such as large centrifuges, belt presses with extended gravity sections, GBT’s, and RDT’s. This pump is also used for high volume WAS transfer, digested sludge transfer and truck loading applications. This cast iron pump can run dry without damage and has no fouling problems. It has a flow range of up to 1,100 GPM and can handle up to 2” solids as well as line size semi-solids. This pump operates at speeds up to 400 RPM.
