Working in Unison
As the suction disc lifts from its seat, a vacuum is created that draws fluid into the pump chamber. At the same time, the discharge disc remains seated to direct flow through the pump.
The Double Disc Pump combines positive displacement pumping with unique free-disc technology to deliver smooth, non-clogging flow. Two discs operate in unison as both pumping and valving elements, enabling reliable handling of solids, rags, slurries, and other difficult media while minimizing wear and maintenance requirements.
As the suction disc lifts from its seat, a vacuum is created that draws fluid into the pump chamber. At the same time, the discharge disc remains seated to direct flow through the pump.
During discharge, pressure causes the suction disc to seat while fluid is pushed toward the outlet. This positive valving action helps maintain consistent flow, even with solids-laden media.

A short stroke length and small displacement per revolution create smoother flow than traditional reciprocating pump designs, making the technology suitable for sensitive transfer and dewatering applications

Delivers strong dry-priming and re-priming capabilities, helping maintain dependable operation in dewatering, wastewater, and industrial transfer applications.
